Lawyers, water, and money (September 5, 2015)

Our money is going to the wrong cause. Last week our Apple Valley Town Council admitted it has budgeted $3 million just for lawyers to try to take over Apple Valley Ranchos Water Company.

The city of Claremont has spent over $2 million on lawyers so far and they have barely got their feet wet in court.

Beware people, this takeover scheme will make lawyers much more than $3 million.

Why don’t we put that money into streets and roads or parks and libraries? With the way the city manages a basic golf course, I don’t trust it to deliver my water anyway.
