A web untangled (September 26, 2016)

The writer of A Tangled Web (8-25-16) either did not read or understand my last two or three letters. The point of the letters is that he told lies to win an argument. I will try to keep this letter short so he might understand it.

You lied. You said in my letter of June 21 that I had stated that I was going to have a storage tank installed and water trucked in. I have never stated that in any way, shape or form. I said that if eminent domain failed, I would seriously look into having a well drilled.

In an interview with the Daily Press you stated you were a member of Citizens for Government Accountability. They are a small group of elitist gadflies who think they know more than the voters who elected our City Council. If they condone you lying, then they have no credibility. In your reply letters you change the subject and never deny that you lied. I don’t care when the city turned over the water to Ranchos. I am sure if they knew how much Ranchos would charge they would not have made the deal. I urge all voters who don’t want 30 to 35 percent water rate increases every three years to vote for the town’s Measure W and against the so-called Hanson Measure V in November.

Beware of people who use lies to win arguments.
