- The Cost of Using Eminent Domain to Take Over AV Ranchos Will Go Up! Costs have already increased. The Daily Press reported on August 12th, 2015, that the Town had already spent $1.4 million dollars related to acquiring Ranchos with a budget of $3.2 million — after just months after saying they had only spent over $250,000.
- The Cost of Purchasing Apple Valley Ranchos Water Will Go Up 2 to 3 Times What the Town Has Projected, Meaning They Will Have to Raise Taxes, Rates, or Both In Order to Pay for It.
If The Town Acquires Ranchos, We Won’t Get Lower Water Rates, But We Will Get Higher Rates & Higher Taxes
