Council approves city water service agreement, equipment investments (April 21, 2025)

BULLHEAD CITY — City Council/ approved a series of requests from Bullhead City Utilities for service agreements, equipment, and training during Tuesday's regularly scheduled meeting.

Council members approved substantial investments into service agreements, equipment, and training by Bullhead City Utilities, including the $82,381 purchase of hydra-stop insta-valve equipment, parts, and training, which allow Water Utilities to repair valves without shutting down water service to large service areas. More than 2,000 valves are known to [be] needing replacement across the city, said Utilities Director Mark Clark. The equipment is made in the U.S. and is not expected to be affected by current tariffs.
