First, the Town has now admitted they won’t lower water rates. Second, they don’t know the final price to take over Ranchos through eminent domain, let alone how much it would cost to finance the purchase of Ranchos. We do know taxpayers are already paying millions, and politicians want to spend millions more. This means higher taxes, higher rates, or — most likely — both.
