The Town government keeps on spending! (March 31, 2015)
Stop the Apple Valley Town Government’s Attempted Takeover of Apple Valley Ranchos
Since 2011, Apple Valley’s Town Government has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars just to study and promote a takeover of Apple Valley Ranchos.
Residents have now learned that the Town Government and their attorneys, behind closed doors, approved a contract for a public relations firm that was more than $150,000.
And this is on top of the $700,000 of tax dollars the Town Government has spent since 2011!

Though Apple Valley already has spokespeople on staff, Town Attorney John Brown … has also hired The 20/20 Network for consultation in the matter of water acquisition.
Victorville Daily Press, March 15, 2015
The contract calls for a monthly retainer of $7,500, three months of additional start-up compensation of $2,500 and reimbursed expenses of up to $1,000 a month. The contract started Feb. 24 and will end Dec. 31, 2016.
