The Daily Press banner headline on Oct. 12 reveals the Town of Apple Valley is holding a special meeting on Oct. 16 to update the public on water issues. Why now?
Is this a taxpayer funded election campaign rally for the incumbents?
Is the Town Attorney short on billing for October and needs to generate fees to be paid by us taxpayers?
Are the incumbents concerned because their woeful handling of the budget and wasteful spending during the last five years have now come to light? Oh, the irony of wasting money on a special meeting to divert attention from wasteful spending.
Inquiring minds want to know!
