Water takeover (November 26, 2015)
This is the last thing that our town government should be doing with our money. By their own admission the best they can do is to have rates and service equal to what they are now. This is yet to be seen. If nothing is going to change, why bother?
I have had to deal with the Town of Apple Valley on many different levels and have never had a good experience. They are slow, it takes forever to get something done and they cost more and more money all the time. I have never seen the government — state or local — outperform private enterprise. We can expect rates to go up and service to decline. Way to go town officials. This should be put on the ballot and voted on by the public.
