Unfounded claim (September 4, 2015)
Many times, big corporations like oil companies are scolded for publicizing favorable results based on studies they funded on their own. If people don’t like it when the big evil corporations do it, why would they like it when the government does it?
In our case, the Town Council in Apple Valley conducted a study and claimed that in all of the scenarios, voter support for the takeover of Apple Valley Ranchos was at or greater than 60 percent!
What residents of Apple Valley need to understand is that water is going to cost the same no matter who delivers it. The town’s claim that they can lower the water rates for residents is disingenuous.
