Letter: AV Ranchos is not for sale (June 8, 2015)
It is apparent to me that the citizens of Apple Valley do not want the town to purchase Apple Valley Ranchos Water Company. First of all, it is not for sale! And it was apparent at the last council meeting that the citizens of Apple Valley do not want the town to buy a privately owned water company. First they do not have the experience, nor can we afford to do this as a town.
I just want to register my complaint that the town does not seem to care what its taxpayers think, as they are still going forward taking matters into their own hands. Eminent domain is not the right action. Stop the government takeover of our local water company!
