also was a highlight presentation, Schmidt said. The session was presented by Kirby Brill, general manager of the Apple Valley-based Mojave Water Agency.
The overall sentiment from the attendees was they are happy we have local control of water,
officials in Victorville said in a statement. We rely on and have confidence in MWA to manage regional water resources.
Officials later shared information and views on programs that work — especially for water conservation — in their communities, Schmidt said.
Everyone needs to do their share
to help conserve water, he said.
