What they won’t tell you about Community Ownership of the Water System, Part 2. Private Onwership is rapidly becoming a thirg of the past. In the past five years, 58 cities in the United States have taken or retaken control of private water systems – a trend driven by out-of-control rate increases and lack of financial accountability to the communities those private companies serve/ We are merely joining the national trend by moving to own and operate the local water system. www.avh2ours.comSource: TOAV, Facebook, January 11, 2016
Our town motto used to be
A better way of life. Now, the Town of Apple Valley is rushing to make us just like everyone else: High debt, overpaid incompetents as managers, and ever-more socialism (the true trend behind all this collectivism). The new town motto should be changed to,
A debtor way of life.
